Srixon, Cleveland & XXIO

Clubs built for the swing you actually have

The Hertsmere is a Srixon, Cleveland, and XXIO Centre of Excellence at Elstree, twenty minutes from north London, offering custom fitting for clubs and golf balls. A PGA professional reads your numbers on the GCQuad launch monitor, you hit until they settle, and you leave knowing exactly what belongs in your bag.

Who fitting is for

Custom fitting is not just
for the pros. Especially not.

A custom fitting is a simple idea. Instead of buying clubs off a shelf and adapting your swing to suit them, you hit balls while a PGA professional measures what your swing actually does, then matches the head, shaft, loft, lie and grip to it.And it is not reserved for single-figure players. If you play off 12, 18, or 25, the gap between the clubs you own and the clubs that fit you is usually wider than a scratch golfer's, so a fitting has more to give you. If you are buying new clubs anyway, getting fitted first is the easiest good decision in golf.

Centre of Excellence

One of two Srixon Centres
of Excellence in the UK

Srixon runs only two Centres of Excellence in the UK, and this is one of them, on the range at Elstree just inside the M25. We stock all of the Srixon, Cleveland, and XXIO models for men and women, with an array of shaft and grip options behind them: 38 heads and 210 shafts on the wall. You will spot tour players' staff bags around the studio, and the wall behind them carries the same heads and shafts their clubs are built from. You test real combinations, hitting real balls out onto the outfield, not into a net.

The technology

Four cameras on every shot:
the GCQuad launch monitor.

We fit with the GCQuad launch monitor and FSX Pro software, the same pairing tour professionals use for club, ball and tee fitting. Four ultra-high-speed cameras track the ball and the club head through impact, and the system adapts to every club in the bag, from the shortest putt to the longest drive.

The numbers do more than fit clubs. The same setup runs gap analysis, distance control work and club optimisation, on the range, on the course or on the putting green. You see every figure as you hit, so when a change works, you know it worked.

Fitting is from £25, and the fee comes off the price if you order a set.

Hit your own clubs first

You warm up with the clubs you play now while the GCQuad builds a baseline. No judgement, just numbers to beat.
